Alma Adventures is a consortium of geographically
and historically focused small organizations that
provide affordable “active cultural and historical
adventures” in various parts of the world.
The philosophic paradigm behind Alma Adventures is that
“passive cultural tourism” is bound to fade away and be
replaced by “active learning” small group experiences
were culture means adventurous conquest and direct
immersion.
Alma Adventures combine active trip adventures with
intensive cultural and historical learning, via cycling
tours, boat excursions, treasure hunts, hiking trips and
a number of “time machine” experiences dedicated to have
a traveller spending a few days living back in an
ancient time and solving historical mysteries in an
exceptional setting such as Venice, Rome, Stockholm or
Tallinn’s Old Town.
